Speaker Bio
Davina Pellicano is passionate about reimagining health and wellbeing in mining — not as a poster on the wall or a compliance checkbox, but as a powerful enabler of connection, performance, and purpose. With more than 15 years of experience across biokinetics, psychology, injury prevention, and strategic leadership, she brings a unique blend of empathy, expertise and energy to the table.

At IGO, Davina leads a cross-functional team that’s rewriting the playbook on what wellbeing in mining can look like. Together, they co-design bold, evidence-based strategies that embed health, mental wellbeing, and psychological safety into the core of daily operations — from remote worksites to executive discussions. Their work has been featured through Curtin University’s Thrive at Work Mining Masterclass and they have contributed to industry-wide collaboration via the WA Government’s MARS Program.

The team is known for keeping it real — cutting through the jargon, bringing grounded, human-focused ideas to life, and creating programs people actually want to engage with. Whether it’s building psychological safety, translating health data into action, or helping people feel more connected at work, they’re proving that wellbeing isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s a game-changer.
