Seasoned mining leader with +20-years’ experience of which 17 years have been with Rio Tinto in a variety of senior leadership roles, including technical, production, financial and integration across multiple commodities and jurisdictions. Currently leading Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s (RTIO) End-to-end (E2E) digital transformation program. The E2E program seeks to simplify and progressively automate production planning and scheduling across the RTIO’s supply chain. This large programme comprises seven streams utilising numerous digital tools (simulation, optimisation & Machine Learning) and underlying technologies to improve productivity and leverage RTIO’s autonomous systems.
