Seyed is the "Regional Business Lead, ANZ and PI" with Planet. He is responsible for growing business activities in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and managing the key commercial and defence accounts.

Seyed holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Science (Remote Sensing) and a Postgraduate Diploma in GIS from Massey University in New Zealand. He also has a BSc in Natural Resource Management. During his career, he has been involved in several national-scale Earth Observation imagery and mapping projects and is a seasoned program and project manager.

Prior to joining Planet, he worked for several reputable multinational companies (Spire Global, Airbus Defence and Space and Jacobs) in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ region) over a career spanning more than 20 years and held various management, sales and technical positions.
