Dr. Hirad Assimi is a lead researcher at Mine Operational Vehicle Electrification (MOVE) project exploring optimal pathways for electrifying the mine fleet. The MOVE project, led by the University of Adelaide and funded by the Future Battery Industries CRC, is developing cutting-edge simulation and analysis tools for mine fleet electrification planning and operation. We have industry partners such as BHP Nickel West and IGO Nova Operation.
