Roland leads the Energy and Mining solutions practice at Cisco Systems. In that role he brings together the products of Cisco and its partners in the Energy and Mining industries. He loves moving valuable business data from the dirtiest and most hazardous environments on earth to the operator screens and applications of Cisco customers.

In recent years, Roland has participated in multiple energy and mining infrastructure projects for oil producers, gold mines, refineries and international pipeline companies. He advises on converged secure data infrastructure across multiple IT and OT stakeholders. Today, he also introduces safely integrated AI tools into almost any infrastructure solution.

Roland works closely with multiple industry stakeholders to ensure customers realize business value and meet their sustainability goals as soon as possible.
