Associate Professor Amir Razmjou is a distinguished academic and industry leader with over 20 years of expertise in desalination, water treatment, membrane technology, and mineral processing. As the Board Director of the Membrane Society of Australasia (MSA) and Founder of the Mineral Recovery Research Centre at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Western Australia, Dr. Razmjou has played a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in the field of mining and resource extraction, particularly in lithium processing. With a track record of publishing over 200 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals, securing substantial research funding exceeding $7 million, and receiving several awards, including 2024 WA FHRI Fund Innovation Fellow, the 2023 MSA Industry Innovation Award and 2021 UTS Chancellor research fellow, Amir has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise. He has supervised more than 40 Master's and Ph.D. candidates and currently holds editorial roles in high-profile journals such as Desalination, DWT, JWPE, among others.
