Before joining the Milken Institute, Singh worked in the hedge fund industry in New York, where she spearheaded the development and management of the emerging markets research and strategy division. This was entrusted with formulating investment opportunities for chief investment officers and other portfolio managers across the firm, employing a cross-sectoral and global approach. As a lead economist at an independent think tank in London and Singapore, she collaborated with a wide array of clients, including investment banks, central banks, government leaders, and sovereign wealth funds. Her expertise spans rigorous macroeconomic analysis, investing in developing countries, and portfolio management in global financial markets. Throughout her career, she built and maintained relationships across various spheres, from C-suite and policy leaders to nongovernmental organizations.
