Vinit is a commodity trader experienced in structuring capital solutions across the commodity supply chain. He has built and run several global commodity books and is currently heading Tata International’s base metals business, with a focus on setting up critical minerals and metals recycling supply chain.

In the past, Vinit has held trading, business development and investment positions in leading international trading houses in metals and energy commodities and banks. He is an advocate of sustainable, conflict-free and responsible supply chains and holds a keen interest in circular economy, energy transition, and their impact on our lives.

Vinit sits on the Product Advisory Committee (Aluminium) of Multi Commodity Exchange of India and is a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
