Dr. Pan currently serves as CEO of Hanking Group. Prior to joining Hanking,
Dr. Pan held senior technical and management positions with various
organizations, including Senior Engineer at NERCO Minerals, Director of
Technical Development at AngloGold, President of GeoSight, Inc. and
General Manager of Gold Fields China.
Given his previous and current positions with major mining companies, Dr.
Pan has accumulated more than 35 years of experience in mine
development, operations, M@A and electronic engineering, including
commodities of gold/silver, copper, lead/zinc, Pt/Pd, iron ore, nickel, and
diamond mines. He worked in various mine projects and operations in
Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, Mexico, Chile, Finland, South Africa,
Canada, Indonesia, Australia, China, etc. Dr. Pan has extensive experiences
in both mine operations and executive decision makings.
As a core leader, Dr. Pan led the growth of a small private Chinese iron ore
company into a well-respected diversified international mine player and
played a pivot role in the Hanking $1 billion IPO in HKSE in 2011. He led
the team for acquisition and operations of several gold assets in Western
Australia with multi-time returns to investments within a few years.
Dr. Pan has broadly published papers and reports in the areas of mineral
exploration, target delineation, mine resource/reserve estimation,
economic evaluation and resource modeling, GIS database, etc.
