Dr. Ahmad Mohsin is an experienced academic and industry expert with over a decade of
work across leading institutions in both Australian academia and industry. He has
contributed extensively to the cybersecurity resilience of critical infrastructure,
particularly in operational technology (OT), through scientific publications, international
conferences, and invited guest talks. Dr. Mohsin is a Cybersecurity Research Fellow at
the Centre for Securing Digital Futures (CSDF) at Edith Cowan University (ECU), where he
leads advanced research on critical infrastructure security, cyber wargame simulations,
and Human–AI collaboration. He has led and contributed to projects addressing
cybersecurity risks in sectors such as mining and port operations. His work often involves
simulating cyber threats to assess and improve system resilience.. His work focuses on
developing trustworthy and resilient systems to protect assets of national significance.
He is especially passionate about building secure and intelligent mining systems and
hopes his research will make a lasting contribution to safeguarding Australia’s critical
infrastructure and economy. Dr. Mohsin actively collaborates with industry partners on
applied research and has developed working prototypes for critical systems using
innovative approaches, including Digital Twins and AI-driven technologies.
