A former senior manager at Rio Tinto and Newcrest, he held site-based roles leading frontline improvements at sites including Oyu Tolgoi and Cadia. An early pioneer in critical risk management, Andrew now serves as a frontline improvement advisor at SafeDay, where he focuses on simplifying, integrating and adding intelligence to digitised frontline safety processes to enhance risk management, operational discipline, and learning from the field. He is a passionate advocate for modern safety thinking—combining fatality elimination, Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), Safety Differently, and next-generation technology to empower frontline teams to work more safely and productively.
